Online Portfolio
In addition to the PowerPoint presentations which you can download from this site, feel free to take a look at the following samples of my work.
- Sample White Paper
The client provided me with the scientific and published information. My job was to create a white paper out of the information provided. This sample also serves as a warning to future customers. After I submitted the copy to my client, it was passed on to the graphic artist, with some minor changes. That version was not returned to me for proof-reading. Your assignment? Find the typos! - Sample complex form (MS Word)
This online form was created based on a Word form that I created to meet a specific company need. I worked closely with a contractor to assure that the online version of the form met the needs of the company. - Sample complex form (MS Excel)
The purpose of this form was for trained professionals to assign permissions and user groups to each employee in their facility. The client gave it to me with the following comment, "No one knows how to complete it, even after training, and IT is not getting the information they need." The original form consisted of blank fields that were completed, mostly manually. When the revised form was tested, the user response was quite positive. They were able to complete the form out immediately, based on what they had learned previously. The IT group was also pleased and advised that now they could easily access the required information. - Screen Captures from Online Help
This is a screen capture from a compiled Help file created using RoboHelp V5. The Help file won an award for Excellence from the STC Israel Technical Publications Competition in 2002. - Sample of My Presentation Skills via a Podcost Interview
Tom Johnson of I'd Rather Be Writing interviewed me on the results of my MA research into the personality characteristics of technical writers. This presentation lets you meet me as a professional, and see how I can present - without visuals.
