If your Canon Pixma printer prints with strange colors, and you have followed all the troubleshooting tips - the manual does not mention this: Verify that you are using ORIGINAL CANON printer ink cartridges.

I have discovered that using third party ink cartridges results in poor quality color prints. This could have been very costly - but kudos to Office Depot - they replaced all my cartridges and only charged the difference between their brand and the Canon brand.

Canon really should note that third party ink cartridges don't work well with their printers. So don't give up... the solution to quality color printing with a Canon Pixma is not cheap, but it works!
